Cambodia Gambling Halls

There is a captivating story to the Cambodia casinos that lie just over the dividing line from nearby Thailand, in which gambling hall gambling is illegal. Eight gambling dens are situated in a generally small location in the metropolis of Poipet in Cambodia. This group of Cambodia casinos is in an excellent location, a 3 to four hour travel from Bangkok and Macao, the two largest wagering centers in Asia. Cambodia gambling dens do a thriving business with Thai blue-collar workers and visitors from Malaysia, Japan, South Korea, and Singapore, with just a couple of Westerners. The phenomenal income acquired from the gambling dens ranges from seven and a half million dollars to more than 12.5 million dollars, and there are a number of restrictions requirements for casino ownership. Ownership is presumed to be largely Thai; still, financing sources are vague. The borders are ceremoniously open from 09:00 to 1700, and even though visas are supposedly necessary to cross, there are methods and means around this, as is accurate of most borders.

The initial Cambodia gambling dens opened in Phnom Penh in 1994, but were forced to close in the late nineties, leaving just a single gambling den in the capital, the Naga Resort. The Naga, a stationary boat gambling hall, contains 150 slot machines and 60 tables. The Naga casino is open all hours with 42 tables of mini-baccarat, 4 tables of blackjack, ten of roulette, two of Caribbean Stud Poker, and 1 each of Pai-Gow and Tai-Sai.

The original casino in Poipet, the Holiday Palace, opened in 1999 and the Golden Crown soon opened. A total of 150 slot machines and five table games at the Golden Crown and 104 one armed bandits and 68 gaming tables at the Holiday Palace. The newer Holiday Palace Casino and Resort highlights three hundred slot machines and 70 gaming tables and the Princess Hotel and Casino, also in Poipet, has one hundred and sixty six one armed bandits and 96 table games, including 87 baccarat chemin de fer (the most beloved game), Fan Tan, and Pai Gow. Additionally, there is the Casino Tropicana, with 135 slot machine games and sixty six of the familiar tables, as well as one table of Casino Stud Poker. One more of the 8 casinos in Poipet, again in a hotel, is the Princess Casino with one hundred and sixty six one armed bandits and 97 table games. The Star Vegas Casino is is located in an all-around vacation and hotel building that contains a number of luxuries on top of the casino, which has 10,000 square feet of 130 slot machine games and 88 table games.
